We, Marc and Markus, are MM Good Times. During our vacations in South Africa, we fell in love with the country and its people. Walker Bay, in particular, has become a place close to our hearts. The view of the bay is spectacular, we can’t get enough of it! We hope and make sure that we never get used to it…
And we love the nature here. The special fynbos vegetation, unique to the Western Cape, looks different in every season. The walks by the sea are indescribable, and when the whales pass by and jump within earshot during whale season from July to November, it’s hard to beat.
As people who appreciate the finer things in life, we also love the good food and drink here. With one of the best and most up-and-coming wine regions in the world right around the corner, we wine lovers are in our element. But the craft beers are also said to be particularly good. Great restaurants and a wealth of culinary offerings and experiences leave nothing to be desired.
When we then, almost by sheer luck, had the opportunity to buy this wonderful house, we thought: Now or never! And so, a crazy idea and a big dream became reality. Alongside our life in Cologne, Germany, we now spend as much time as possible in our new second home, Gansbaai, South Africa.
Here, we are creating a place to feel comfortable and linger with a lot of heart and attention to detail, and we hope that you will feel just as at home here as we do.
